(ANSA) - BEIJING, APRIL 01 - Insist on promoting peace talks, preventing a wider humanitarian crisis, building lasting peace in Europe and Eurasia, and preventing the spread of regional conflicts: these are the four proposals of Chinese President Xi Jinping to resolve the war between Ukraine and Russia presented in the summit with the EU.
In the official media report, Xi noted that "the crisis in Ukraine has added to the long-standing Covid-19 pandemic and an uncertain global economic recovery".
China and the EU, as "great forces, great markets and great civilizations, must increase communication on issues of global peace and development".
