"CarbonaraDay", an appointment dedicated to the characteristic pasta dish of Lazio, and more particularly of Rome, is back on 6 April.
The party brings together enthusiasts, amateurs and gourmets for a day full of celebratory initiatives dedicated to the recipe famous in Italy and in the world.
A research commissioned by the pasta makers of Unione Italiana Food at the Piepoli Institute reveals that for 9 out of 10 Italians (95%) carbonara is always eaten in company, especially in the family.
According to the survey, conducted on a sample of 500 representative people of the adult population, for 8 out of 10 Italians carbonara in particular is a matter of the heart: 62% share it with their family, 20% with their partner.
Only 13%, with peaks among males under 35, enjoy it with friends.

For April 6, live on the social channels WeLovePasta with the pasta makers of Unione Italiana Food and chef Luciano Monosilio, a social marathon is scheduled with an invitation to share the recipe with the hashtags #CarbonaraDay and #CarbonaraSharing.
