Cleaning the sink with home remedies - that's how it works
First of all, it means: Get to the dirt!
Thoroughly clean
the sink and faucets
.
Of course, cheaply and thoroughly, this works with the tried-and-tested
household remedies baking soda and vinegar
.
Simply put a little baking soda on a soft sponge and carefully rub the sink and fittings with it.
Next, add vinegar and let the mixture soak in for a bit.
Acetic acid works against limescale and dissolves water stains in no time.
Rinse with clear water, wipe dry - done!
Incidentally, cleaning sponges should be replaced regularly for hygienic reasons.
With the right washing program, however, cleaning rags, dish sponges etc. become germ-free again.
Baby oil seals the sink after cleaning and adds shine
After you have cleaned the sink of dirt and limescale stains, another, but rather unusual
household remedy ensures a shine in the sink: baby oil!
Simply put up to two teaspoons of the care oil on a soft cloth and rub the stainless steel sink and fittings thoroughly with it.
The baby oil seals the surfaces and should ensure cleanliness and shine in the kitchen for weeks.
Alternatively, olive oil or rinse aid are also suitable for a shiny finish.
Incidentally, rinse aid is also recommended for cleaning shower cubicles and fittings in the bathroom.
