All the branches of the federation are called upon to mobilize, whether it concerns urban transport (bus, tram, etc.), road transport, air transport, waste activities, taxis, lifts mechanics or highways.

In a press release, the cégétiste federation lists its demands: “

general increase in wages

”, “

maintenance of employment and its development

”, or even “

stopping of social dumping and improvement of working conditions

”.

The CGT also demands the “

stopping of the opening to competition of public passenger transport services and waste activities

”.

From 2023, the entire rail network - except for certain RER links - must be opened up to competition.

It has already started on certain SNCF TGV and TER lines.
