The first tourist ship entered the port of Haifa yesterday (Sunday) after more than two years of absence due to the plague.

In the morning, the magnificent ship SILVER WHISPER, belonging to the Royal Caribbean Group and carrying about 350 tourists, entered the port of Haifa.

The ship in Israel is represented by Carmel Shipping.

Last week, the government and the Knesset approved the protocols for tourist cruises to and from Israel, and a few days later, the first swallow arrives.

On the first day of mooring in Haifa, all tourists performed a PCR test in accordance with the Israeli procedure.

In the next two days, the ship will remain in Haifa, during which the tourists will go on tours around Israel.

Dozens more tourist ships are expected to arrive during the spring season, when at the same time cruises to the eastern Mediterranean will start departing from the eastern Mediterranean of the companies Mano Shipping, MSC CRUISES and Royal Caribbean - all three declared the port of Haifa this year.
