Many customers are stunned and call for a boycott.

Neckarsulm - After Russia's attacks on Ukraine, many German citizens showed solidarity with Ukraine and offered the country support.

All over Germany, people demonstrated, among other things, in the Ukrainian colors blue and yellow and spoke out against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Since then, the flag of Ukraine has not only been present in many public places or town halls as a sign of support, but also among many citizens.

However, an offer in Kaufland's online shop showed that you should be careful when buying a flag, which sparked a wave of indignation on the Internet.

Kaufland offers Ukraine flags with Nazi symbols

On the Facebook and Twitter platforms, Kaufland customers were amazed at what was on offer in the online shop of the food retailer from Baden-Württemberg.

A Ukraine flag was posted there, showing the sign of the far-right Ukrainian Azov regiment.

The coat of arms consists of the Nazi symbols of the black sun and the sign of the Nazi organization "Werewolf".

Kaufland customers are stunned.

"Are you still okay?" Many people comment.

"What's with the Nazi shit Kaufland?

Opinion, but pronto,” demands an angry Twitter user.

"It can only be a fake or Kaufland is crazy," writes another user.

"This is in no way acceptable and should also be legally pursued," said another user.

Some Twitter and Facebook users even called for the grocer's boycott: "I'll never shop at Kaufland again."

Kaufland removes right-wing offer and rejects guilt

Kaufland reacted to the angry reactions of users on social media and announced that the product had now been removed from the online shop.

The company of the Schwarz Group also points out that they are not responsible for all content.

“Our shop works according to the marketplace principle.

This means that different sellers can place their offers there, ”explains Kaufland on Twitter.

However, this marketplace principle has often been the subject of criticism in the past.

Among other things, because a product was offered there that is actually forbidden in Germany (BW24 * reported), or other curious offers such as 10,000 euros expensive garden chairs * were advertised.

Nevertheless, thanks to the online offer, Kaufland was recognized as the most important brand in Germany*.
