Peretz added to Walla! "The Nature and Parks Authority has asked for six months in prison in this case, and the sentence received is a punishment appropriate to the circumstances of the case," he said. The court took into account An appeal is also possible, "thereby trying to prevent interference with the appeal," he added.

Peretz added that the sentence would not be converted into community service, that Hashem was not found fit for it and the court insisted that he go to jail.

"The convict brought a psychiatric opinion that reduced the sentence, and despite the opinion he presented - that actual imprisonment would pose a real danger to him - the court still sentenced him to prison, so the punishment is appropriate in the circumstances, which is critical for us in the future," he said.

According to Liad Ling, Northern Nature and Parks Authority's Northern District Investigations and Intelligence Officer: "These are acts of extortion, hunting and cruel abuse of a hypocrite that led to his death in agony. "
