Google Maps is updated, three new features arrive for planning trips.
There is information on road tolls, to take into account the different tariffs when evaluating route options;
but also more detailed maps with information such as street widths, sidewalks, traffic lights and signs.
Finally, more integration with iOS and Siri.
For example, you can access Maps from the home screen with the new widgets;
Maps search and direction features will be more easily accessible directly from Spotlight and Siri, and you can also navigate from the Apple Watch.
The first feature, the toll feature, arrives on Android and iOS this month for nearly 2,000 toll roads in the US, India, Japan and Indonesia, but there are more countries on the way.
The second will be available in some countries in the coming weeks on Android, iOS, Android Auto and CarPlay.
The third arrives in the coming months, with an improved Siri search functionality arriving this summer.
"With the new updates we can say goodbye to travel and vacation planning hassles, save money and explore a new place," the company explains in an official post.
