(ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 06 - The negative start of Wall Street has further weighed down the stock exchanges in Europe, where Milan is the worst.

Piazza Affari achieved a loss of 2.8%, followed by Amsterdam and Paris which lost about two and a half percentage points, with Amsterdam down by 2.2% and Madrid by two points.

Still try to hold London, which falls by 0.8%.


   The uncertainties about the consequences of the war in Ukraine and the expectation on the Fed's monetary policy guidelines, with the interest rates of European government bonds under tension: the 10-year BTP reached a yield of 2.37%.

In Piazza Affari, among various suspensions in the liquidity auction, Stellantis (-5%), Iveco (-4.9%) and Pirelli (-4.8%), with banks generally weaker in the general market.
