Chefs from food magazine HelloFresh explained to the Daily Star the secret: "Some people put their eggs in boiling water. But did you know that if you put the egg in cold water and then boil them, you are more likely to control the end result? You just have to put the egg "In cold water and then bring them to a boil. When the water is boiling and bubbling, remove the eggs from the heat and cover the pot with a lid."

They then shared a chart with various yolk secrets and suggested choosing the one you want for your egg, and leaving it in the hot water for the time indicated on the chart.

After the time has passed, you have to transfer the egg to very cold water (in order to stop the internal cooking process) and peel the shell and that's it.

"The result will be perfect every time."

According to the chart, preparing particularly liquid soft-boiled eggs with a partially cooked yolk should take two minutes in boiling water while a regular soft-boiled egg with a liquid yolk should take four minutes.

Those who prefer a more viscous yolk and a solid protein should aim for six minutes and an almost hard-boiled egg will take eight minutes.

To get a completely hard boiled egg - walk for ten minutes in boiling water.
