Wallisellen near Zurich: two dead when an armed German was arrested

According to the Swiss police, there was a deadly operation near Zurich: Two people died when trying to arrest a suspected German kidnapper.

According to the police, two people were shot during a police operation in the canton of Zurich.

A 38-year-old German was among the dead.

According to a report on March 31, the man is said to have kidnapped another man.

However, the German let the kidnapped man go that same night.

Since then, the police have been looking for the alleged perpetrator.

They found the man known to the police in Wallisellen near Zurich.

He should be arrested according to the information on Wednesday evening.

Apparently companion shot

Special forces were involved in the operation.

When they tried to arrest the man, he pulled out a gun.

He fired immediately and apparently hit a woman who was accompanying him.

The police then used firearms and killed the man.

The woman and the suspected kidnapper died on the spot despite immediate rescue efforts.
