A 41-year-old died at a techno event in Bochum after a physical altercation with a bouncer.
Police and public prosecutors announced on Sunday morning that a security employee had been taken into custody.
An autopsy of the body was also ordered.
In this way, it should be determined whether the cause of death could be »death from an internal cause«.
A homicide squad was set up to investigate the incident.
Security staff fixed the guest
According to the police and public prosecutor's office, the 41-year-old from Bochum was expelled from the event in the run-up to the party at the RuhrCongress.
At around 2.30 a.m. he asked for admission again and got into an argument with the security staff.
There had been fisticuffs in which a bouncer fixed the man.
Suddenly, the man had to be resuscitated, according to the information.
He was then treated by an ambulance and taken to a hospital.
There he was pronounced dead after several hours of resuscitation attempts.
