Dog completely matted – hairdresser intervenes: “What a bad mess”

When dog groomer Whitney Samuels saw a photo of an extremely neglected dog on her FB account, she took immediate action.

Hudsonville, Michigan - While browsing her Facebook page, Whitney Samuels is struck by a photo of a dog that saddens her.

Their condition is pathetic: the four-legged friend's fur is completely matted and covered with burrs.

Animal-loving people found the helpless girl roaming around alone on their property and asked for help on a local "Wanted - Found" page.

Samuels revealed to "The Dodo": "I just couldn't scroll any further, I had to help." The dog hairdresser immediately contacts the family and sets out to pick up the little one.

Less than 45 minutes later she arrives there and takes the bitch in receipt.

Only now does the full extent become visible.
