(ANSA) - TEHRAN, APRIL 10 - The United States has recently advanced excessive demands and conditions in exchange for the removal of sanctions that go beyond the draft nuclear agreement under discussion in Vienna: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said today.
"We have come to conclusions in the technical discussions with E3 (Great Britain, France and Germany), however Iran will not back down from its red lines and we are not focused only on the Vienna talks," added Amirabdollahian.
The path of diplomacy to reach a "lasting and honorable" agreement in Vienna is open, the minister underlined, adding that "the United States has repeatedly insisted on direct talks with Iran, but we believe that if there is good will on their part, Americans should take concrete steps to release some of the frozen Iranian assets and remove the sanctions.
