(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 10 - The candidate of France Insoumis to the French presidential elections, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, obtained more than 50% of the votes in the overseas departments of Guadeloupe and Martinique where the polling stations are already closed and the turnout has stopped respectively at 42.67% and 44.76%.

In Guadeloupe, in particular, the candidate of the radical left won over 56% of the votes.

Also in Martinique Mélenchon reaches 56.16%.
