Nogtin cookies, kosher for Passover, by Shemu Confectionery (Photo: Daniel Laila)

Confectionery by name

Every year, his confectionery presents a Passover collection, which arouses great amazement in us, and raises questions about whether flour is such an essential product in our lives, if we can make such successful desserts without it.

Its name preserves some of the desserts that have become identified with it on Passover in recent years: wonderful

nougat cookies

filled with praline cream (we also have their recipe) - addictive cookies, filled with a rich and pampering nut spread, that will pass you the holiday with great pleasure, and we will be happy to adopt them all year .

Next to them in the collection there is also a

decoupage

- milk chocolate mousse and caramel mousse based on almond meringue.

A great chocolate mousse, which can serve as an impressive and winning dessert on the holiday table.

We are also dying for the cake in the sense of the name -

Nanta

, a wonderful cake based on almonds, a real treat for marzipan lovers (NIS 49-59 for cakes in the senses).

And of course there are more kosher cakes and pastries for Passover, in the confectionery shops and on the website.

Kosher Pistachio Cake for Passover at Dalal Confectionery (Photo: Yael Laor)

Dalal

Dalal Confectionery, headed by pastry chef Timur Lavie, also put together a wonderful kosher Passover dessert collection.

The highlight of Dalal for us, which stars in us every year, is a wonderful Nemesis chocolate cake (here you will find her recipe).

This year it was made in collaboration with Hennessy, and the cognac flavors are indeed more pronounced, so it can be said that it is less suitable for children.

For adults, however, it is a very delightful, chocolatey and pampering cake, one small piece of which is enough to close a corner of sweetness after a heavy holiday meal.

The cake is sold alongside a small bottle of Hennessy (50 ml) - package price with the cake: NIS 64.

Alongside the chocolate cake, Dalal offers several other kosher items for the holiday - pistachio

cake

- pistachio layers, including plenty of vanilla ganache, raspberry coli and full of strawberries and blueberries ( NIS 138), as well as

a box of cookies

Great that includes kisses, financial coconut, almond amarie cookies and Coco Crunch (a kind of Ferrero Rocher style snacks) - all the items are great and really tasty, and will make your holiday really tasty, without compromise (68 shekels per box).

Sale starting Monday, April 11, 2022.

Bakery Hazelnut Jandoya Cake (Photo: Yael Laor)

Bakery

The bakeries from R2M offer, as usual, a delicious and accurate collection that will make everyone happy.

We are adherents of the bakery's orange polenta cake, but this time we tasted a slightly different version of it -

polenta, lemon and ricotta

- an Italian cake made from corn flour, lemon, olive oil and pine nuts, topped with a sage-scented cream coating.

This is a delicious and very successful cake, but especially for those who like slightly more sophisticated, different and interesting flavors and less banal.

The Jandoya cake

, on the other hand, is already a consensus, a hazelnut torte cake coated in rich chocolate cream.

One of the special and excellent cakes we got to taste this holiday.

A very concentrated and rich cake, yet soft, and one of the most enjoyable cakes that can be eaten on Passover (and in general) alongside coffee.

In addition, the bakery offers a selection of great cup desserts - tiramisu, chocolate mousse, lemongrass, all of which are delicious and very successful, so that even with cutting you will not have to bother.

pleasure is guaranteed.

Roldin's salted caramel chocolate bar (Photo: Ronen Mangan)

Roldin

As usual, you can count on Roldin, who always manages to mark a big V on the impression section, with beautiful, impressive and tempting cakes - which definitely live up to expectations.

Roldin's holiday collection is varied and rich and includes mousse cakes, baked cakes, tarts, cookies, macaroons, quiches, sandwiches, rolls and breakfast pastries for the weekdays.

We tasted

a salted caramel chocolate bar

, a stripe cake consisting of a chocolate fudge, salted caramel toffees, praline, pecans and caramelized hazelnuts (NIS 65).

A kind of highly upgraded brownie, a rich, very sweet and pampering cake, you can not eat more than one piece of it, nor should you, it provides exactly the amount of sweetness and chocolate required.

And again, these would mean that you have to spend for these processes.

We also tasted

chocolate coffee or la

(NIS 149) - Crunchy chocolate coffee, coconut biscuit, cremo coffee, vanilla mousse and coffee chocolate shunts - an impression-type cake that was born right at the dessert table at the end of the holiday meal.

The chocolate base with coffee bean chips was delicious and crunchy and also the coffee cream which is actually a kind of rich coffee mousse, was very good.

The only problem was when cutting the layers disintegrated slightly and damaged the impression that this type of cake produces.

We also tasted a fur

apple tart

- consisting of crispy suffering, almond cream, apple rum in cinnamon and almond crumble (NIS 65) - the dough was crispy and delicate and the almond cream added a wonderful marzipan aroma.

An excellent cake for all lovers of apple and marzipan cakes.

In addition, the chain offers new and wonderful hazelnut spreads, Bianco hazelnut spread (40%) and cocoa and hazelnut spread, suitable for baking and eating all year round and also kosher for Passover.

The range of products along with a variety of festive gift packages, can be purchased at

Roldin's website

starting April 10th.

The little Swiss cake in Biscotti (Photo: Boaz Lavie)

Biscotti

Biscotti Confectionery offers a selection of cakes, personalized desserts and kosher quiches for the holiday without fear of legumes.

Chef Rosella Yona has created a rich variety of sweet and savory flavors and homemade flavors.

Although the cakes seemed a bit old-school (old-fashioned) to us at first glance, they were a great success and love.

We tasted the

three chocolates

cake - flour-free chocolate cake base, Belgian chocolate cream, blond cream, white chocolate cream and white chocolate coating (from NIS 72 per strip to NIS 188 for a 26 cm diameter cake) and

Little Switzerland cake

- a bottom of Walnut meringue cookie, mascarpone cream with a crispy layer of dark chocolate and white chocolate drippings on top (from NIS 72 per strip to NIS 188 for a 26 cm diameter cake).

They were both fun and wonderful cakes, unsophisticated, with a fun texture play, crafted just the right amount, what more could you ask for?

We will also mention the

baked cheesecake

- Homemade "New York" baked cream cheesecake (from 72 NIS per strip to 188 shekels for a 26 cm diameter cake).

The products can be purchased at "Biscotti" stores, or by phone order in all parts of the country. All confectionery products are kosher Under the supervision of Badatz Beit Yosef without fear of legumes.

Mimi's wonderful chocolate (Photo: Daniel Leila)

Mimi Bakery

Mimi Bakery, located at 7 points throughout the Sharon region and the center, offers a collection of gluten-free desserts especially in honor of Passover.

This time our heart bought the English Cakes -

a poppy seed cake with a chocolate coating

, which was rich and wonderful, a cake that is a real delicacy for poppy lovers (48 shekels).

Another cake that surprisingly won a lot of love is

a cake with an orange caramel polenta feel

(48 shekels), without added sugar, a successful and wonderful cake for the weekdays, along with coffee or tea.

Alongside these we tasted two impressive showcase cakes, which were delicious, but a little too heavy for our taste - a chocolate cake with layers of fondant biscuit and a rich chocolate cream coated with chocolate ganache and strawberry suffering suffered burton, vanilla patisserie cream, fresh strawberries decorated with vanilla chantilly.
