"When we see yesterday's configuration - said Mélenchon's loyalist on France Inter - it will be a question of making sure that the necessary things are done in the legislative elections, because Macron may not obtain a majority in the Assembly", he warned in reference to the result achieved yesterday by Mélenchon, who finished third behind Macron and Le Pen, with 22% of the votes.

In the aftermath of the first round of the French presidential elections,

Emmanuel Macron starts today to hunt for votes in Denain,

one of the poorest cities in France, in the north of the country.

An 'expedition' to lepenist land, for the candidate president, who does not want to repeat the mistake of 2017, when he celebrated the result of the first round at 'La Rotonde', one of the most chic brasseries in Paris, in the heart of the left bank.

Tomorrow, however, he is expected in Mulhouse, and then Strasbourg, which yesterday chose for a third the candidate of the gauche, Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

According to Politico's 'Paris Playbook' on Thursday the candidate president should instead go to Le Havre, the fiefdom of his former prime minister, Edouard Philippe.

Program at the quietest moment for Marine Le Pen who, contrary to 2017, intends to limit marriages so as not to get tired of the televised confrontation with Macron, scheduled for April 20.

For her,

the program is quite sober.

Tomorrow he foresees a meeting with him at the Salons Hoche in Paris as well as two interviews, in the morning on France Inter and in the evening on TF1 as well as the making of a video clip and a press conference.

Rally of the nationalist candidate are in preparation in Avignon, on April 14, and in Arras, a week later.
