How many times a week is it recommended to take a shower to stay healthy?

("Story in a Minute" system)

Ticket star Jack Anderson has sparked controversy online after sharing her hygiene habits and claiming that women can only afford to shower once every three days because "they never stink", while men on the other hand must take a shower every day - because they do stink.

In a tic-tac-toe video that garnered 1.5 million views in less than two weeks, Jack claimed that women instinctively know when to take a shower - adding that sometimes it's daily - and sometimes just one bite every three days is enough.

She added that on the other hand it is "disgusting" that men do not shower every day and admitted that she knows her opinion is controversial.

She watches the reactions of many who really disagreed with her.

In the video Jack says: "It can be every day, it can be once in three days. I'm about to say something controversial - maybe it's even a double standard, but I do not care - it must be said. Women do not shower every day - and they do not "We must. We shower when we need to. It does not matter because we do not stink and we do not look dirty, and we also save the planet when we do it. Waste water? Not us."

She added: "Men, however, if they do not shower every day ... it is disgusting."

And here she responds to the criticism:

With hand on heart: How often is your shower?

I am a man and shower every day

I'm a man and shower every day yes - no day

I am a man and shower once every three to four days or when needed

I am a woman and take a shower every day

I am a woman and shower every day yes - day no

I am a woman and take a shower once every three to four days or when needed

As expected, Jack's video sparked a heated debate.

"I always said that a woman takes a long time until she smells bad. With us men it is within a day," one wrote in agreement and another added: "A shower for women is a chore. The preparation before and the wet hair after and blah blah. Absolutely not. Only when I need I go in."

Others disagreed with Jack: "Speak for yourself. I shower every day," one reporter and another added: "It's really not true. Women also smell bad sometimes."

A third added: "It's not scientifically correct. I'm not a judge, but I like to take a shower and do not see it as a chore. That's how I was raised."
