Weather in Germany: It gets warm before Easter

The sun is shining before the holidays: the temperature is expected to rise to 24 degrees this week - but already on Wednesday. Easter egg hunt weather can be changeable.

Rain, sleet and snow showers are a thing of the past, Easter week begins with friendly weather.

On Monday it will be significantly milder compared to the weekend with 13 to 19 degrees, reports the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach.

Only the extreme north-east is still lagging behind, with mostly single-digit values ​​of eight to ten degrees.

On Tuesday, the sun often shines alongside passing clouds, it stays dry.

According to the DWD, the maximum values ​​should be between twelve and 18 degrees in the northeast, otherwise 19 to 23 degrees.

Wednesday will be warm

Wednesday will probably be the warmest day of the week with 19 to 24 degrees.

The 25-degree mark could be cracked on the Upper Rhine.

In the west and northwest it will remain cloudy, at times heavily overcast.

In some areas, some rain or individual showers must be expected, and isolated thunderstorms are also possible.

According to the DWD, the second half of the week with the Easter holidays should be more changeable again.
