Coachella kicks off, the Maneskin on stage with the big names in music

After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the speakers of the Coachella Music Festival are ready to make noise in the Californian desert again. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - NEW YORK, APRIL 13 - After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the loudspeakers of the Coachella Music Festivals are ready to make noise again in the Californian desert.

The countdown began for the two weekends of the event considered one of the most important at a musical level, especially for alternative rock and electronic sounds.


   From 15th to 17th and from 22nd to 24th April in three line ups with artists headed by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd with The Swedish House Mafia will offer the best of the current international music scene.

At Coachella the Italian flag will also be waved with the Maneskin.

Victoria, Damiano, Thomas and Ethan are in The Weeknd line up with The SwedishHouse Mafia (April 17 and 24), to fulfill another dream and complete the mosaic of successes collected in the United States and around the world.

The band will bring live the sounds of their second album 'Teatro d'Ira - Vol. I', certified platinum and with over a billion plays on Spotify.


    Initially the headliner of their line up was Kanye West (now Ye), but the rapper forfeited a decade ago.


   In its place will be The Weeknd and The Swedish House Mafia.

In particular, Coachella will see the Swedish group of three DJ producers reunite, Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso.

Furthermore, on April 15, the band will release their new album 'Paradise Again' which includes 17 songs including four singles released between 2021 and 2022. It will be promoted with an extensive world tour that will take place between July and November.
