(ANSA) - PALERMO, APRIL 13 - LetiziaBattaglia, 85, a historic photojournalist, who for years worked for the newspaper "L'Ora", has died in Palermo, telling the story of the Mafia war with her shots.
She has been awarded numerous awards such as the EugeneSmith and the Eric Salomon Award, she has collaborated with the most important world news agencies.
Between the end of the 1980s and the early 1990s, she was also involved in politics.
