(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 13 - Two people are being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office of Rome in the investigation into the death threats and injuries to the damage of the Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, published in recent weeks on Telegram channels, after his declarations in support of the Ukrainian people.
The Carabinieri of the Operational Department of the Capital carried out house searches against a 46-year-old from the province of Milan and a 48-year-old from the province of Syracuse, not belonging to any extremist fringe.
The carabinieri of the Telematic Investigations Section of the NucleoInvestigativo of Rome traced the account of the two from whom the threats were launched.
During the searches, cell phones likely used to send threatening messages to the Minister were seized.
Investigations aimed at identifying the authors of the further death threats published on social networks are still underway.
