(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 15 - The massacre at work continues, with three fatal accidents recorded today.
The first occurred in Sardinia: a 23-year-old worker died following the collapse of a scaffolding in Sorso (Sassari) on a construction site.
According to initial information, the young worker was overwhelmed by the scaffolding that was dismantled and which gave way, perhaps due to the strong wind.
In Trentino a 39-year-old worker who had been transported in serious condition to the Santa Chiara diTrento hospital died following an accident on a construction site.
From the first reconstructions the man, of Albanian origin, would have been hit in the head after the collapse of an attic while he was working on the renovation of a building.
In Emilia Romagna, a worker aged about 60 died after being overwhelmed by the load he was unloading from a truck, at the Hera headquarters in Pievesestina di Cesena.
The man, an employee of a trucking company based in Avellino, had recently arrived at his destination and was unloading some big bags for waste collection when, for reasons still to be clarified, he would have been suddenly overwhelmed by some of these.
