"Euphoria" star: "It was precisely the conservative education I received that pushed me to porn" Israel today

Chloe Cherry, who played Faye's character in the second season of the hit series, spoke candidly in a new interview about her work as an actress in adult films, and sought to shatter the stigmas attributed to the field.

Chloe Cherry, the star of the series "Euphoria", opened and told about her professional past in the world of porn.

In an interview with the podcast "The Viall Files", the actress talked about the reasons that brought her to the field and her family's reaction to her decision.

Interestingly, she says that it was precisely the protective childhood she experienced, as part of the Amish community, which does not believe in having sex before marriage, that pushed her to seek out bold challenges and integrate into the adult entertainment industry.

"I started watching a lot of porn when I was younger, because I wanted to see a world where people actually enjoy having sex and just admit that sex does them good and they want it," said the 24-year-old star, who made her debut in the second season of the HBO hit series.

Cherry plays the character of Faye, who appears throughout the season, and spends a lot of time with the drug dealer Pasco.

"I feel like I would not be so interested in sex if the people around me were not so anti-sex," she added.

"We were taught in school that abstinence is the answer and all sorts of other weird things, and I had weird perceptions about sex."

Chloe embarked on a acting career in the porn industry in 2015 and has appeared in over 200 adult films.

Her conservative family, she says, did not accept her professional choice with excessive enthusiasm - not really surprisingly.

"They were very, very cruel," she told presenter Nick Viel.

"It took them a while to realize that what they were doing was 'fornication'."

Despite the harsh reactions from her immediate environment, she spoke affectionately about her time in the porn industry, and even revealed details about a relationship with Sugar-Daddies ("adult funders," in the absence of a more appropriate Hebrew translation) that she knew at this time of her life.

"It's a bit like going out with someone, except you go out for other reasons," she explained.

"You provide something to each other, so your relationship is based on what they provide for you."

Earlier this year, Cherry revealed that she had appeared in a porn parody of "Euphoria," before participating in the show itself.

At the time many were mistaken in thinking that Sam Levinson, the creator of the series, cast her after watching her participate in the parody in question.

But in a recent interview with Paper magazine, she explained that this was not the case.

"I do not like the fact that people hate him," she said, explaining that she was cast in the series while her photos were rejected in light of the Corona plague.

"He's a professional writer and helps me a lot. All my interactions with him have been really nice."
