Bing for Passover: Get Three Series That Must Watch | Israel today

2022-04-18T06:07:40.613Z

A mesmerizing science fiction series, a cringe Israeli series and a funny and sad hospital series at the same time - these are the recommendations of the home critic

Get three recommendations for new series, which are broadcast on television during this period and must be watched:

1. "Disconnect"

The week of Passover creates a sense of freedom among employees.

Many go on an organized vacation and forget for a week that they are full-time slaves to a competitive corporate culture that requires them to invest their soul in work.

If only we could feel all the time that we're free - it sure would be liberating.

Completely disconnect from all office happenings as soon as the work day is over.

Forget everything until you come back the next day.

Say, if a corporation was able to implant in its employees a small chip, which seems to split each person in two and produce in him two identities.

A dedicated employee who has no idea who he is in the hours outside the corporation's offices, because then his memories of work are repressed, so he basically has no idea how much he is controlled and abused inside.

"Severance" is by far the most wonderful and mesmerizing series ever released in 2022.

She is philosophical, witty and deep, she has a visual design that burns the eyes, and the play in her is impressive thanks to a collection of stars such as Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Tortoro, Christopher Walken and others.

And believe it or not, Ben Stiller is bombarded with the directing work.

What makes people fly over her is the fact that unlike MDB series that pretend to be clever but disperse, "Disconnect" knows how to reward its viewers. How rare it is today on television.

Besides, it's easy for all of us to identify with characters who struggle with a monstrous corporation that strives to drown them in work.

"Disconnect" is flooded with harsh criticism of this corporate culture, but the most ironic is that in order to watch the series you have to make a monthly subscription to Apple TV +'s streaming service;

That is, commit to one of the most predatory and powerful corporations in the world.

Steve Jobs was proud.

2. "Lunar Years"

So bad it's brilliant.

"Lunar Years",

"I have a muse," the character of Aviv Geffen occasionally announces in his series about his life, and this is how the viewer knows that in this scene he will write a hit.

Every hit has a story.

For example, a gay child who is thrown out of his home, goes through the recording studio, leaves a depressing inspiration in Geffen, and abandons to commit suicide.

Aviv, in response, returns to the microphone and records "We Are an Armed Generation."

"Lunar Years" is so cringy that it is a must-watch series.

It takes place in a parallel universe - inside Aviv Geffen's head - and it's so weird to be there.

As if everything around is wrapped in mirrors, all of which are reflected only in Aviv Geffen.

It's so bad I can 't wait to wait until its next episode (Thursdays on HOT 3).

It is so distorted, unfounded and concentrated in Aviv Geffen, that it is without a doubt one of the most pretentious, embarrassing and angular series made here.

Mesmerizing as looking at a train accident in slow motion.

And these are some of the reasons why we must get a second season of this glossy pink.

3. "It's going to hurt"

Another hospital series, cynical, funny and sad, that is going to hurt you just as it promises.

"It's Going to Hurt" (available for Bing on yes and HOT) is based on a successful book by Adam Kay and describes the ills of the UK public health system through an intrusive look into the maternity ward and the troubles of doctors, interns and nurses, who mentally and wither as the drama progresses and in relation Direct to the wear and tear they experience from the intensity of work.

It evokes disturbing thoughts, and is recommended for anyone who ever plans to be treated in a hospital.
