(ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 18 - Two absolute champions of finance, united so deeply as to overcome friendship, esteem and affection, almost in a relationship of love between father and son, despite the conflicts and different visions.
These are still the stories of the Massimo Ruggero-Dominic Morgan duo, played by Alessandro Borghi and Patrick Dempsey, the undisputed narrative heart of the second season of 'Diavoli', the international financial thriller of Sky Original broadcast from April 22 on Sky Atlantic and streaming on Now.
A story of power, secrets and disappointments set in the Olympus of high finance, from which the multiple storms of "a world in constant change" are crossed: the Covid-19 pandemic, the contrast between the West and the East, the fear of data leakage.
The protagonists have been explored as much as possible according to the "entire arc" of human emotions: Borghi in the role of CEO of the New York-London Investment Bank, while Dempsey returns to interpret a gray eminence of global finance.
New characters are Li Jun Li, in the role of Wu Zhi, Nyl's new Head of Trading, Joel de la Fuente, in those of Cheng Liwei, new board member and Nadia Wojcik, the new genius protégé of Dominic, played by Clara Rosanger.
The series is written by Frank Spotnitz and James Dormer with Naomi Gibney and Caroline Henry.
Guido Maria Brera, former author of the book "The devils" (Rizzoli), at the base of the first season, is the author of the series format of the second.
