Horror in New York, where a woman, a mother of two children, was killed and her body put in a bag found near a park in Queens.
The police have called the case a real mystery and now they are hunting for the killer, captured by surveillance cameras while dragging the bag on the street a few hours before the discovery.
The victim, 51-year-old Orsolya Gaalm, lived in a huge Tudor-style mansion and the body was found on Saturday morning on Metropolitan Avenue near a park by a man walking his two dogs.
"It was shocking," said Glenn Van Nostrand, explaining that he saw the abandoned bag, opened it to reveal the bloodied body, and then called the police.
Shortly thereafter, neighbors saw police carrying away their 13-year-old son in handcuffs, who was interrogated and then released.
The other 17-year-old son was traveling with the victim's father and husband in Portland, Oregon.
As emerged from the first investigations, the 51-year-old had gone out Friday night returning to her Forest Hills villa around 11 pm: it seems that she told the 13-year-old that she was going to the theater while she instead she would have met with a man.
The New York Post also reported that the killer sent the woman's husband a message: "Your whole family will be next."
Law enforcement sources with knowledge of the autopsy results revealed to the New York Post that the woman was brutally stabbed nearly 60 times.
Orsolya Gaal was shot in the carotid artery and trachea, but knife wounds were also found on her fingers and palms.
And other wounds were found in her neck, torso and left arm.
For now, it does not appear that the victim has been subjected to sexual violence.
