Spring has arrived, Passover is coming, and with it freedom from the frameworks.

If you spend your holidays, or at least some of them, at home, you will have to prepare with meals for the children, and if you stick to kosher food on Passover - it can be a bit challenging.

Precisely for this reason we turned to Efrat Avrahami, a health and natural nutrition consultant, and asked her for her recommendations for chametz-free recipes, so here are 4 particularly successful dishes:



Pancake is perfect for Passover



Toddlers and babies will especially love it, they are soft and pleasant and easily digested.



Ingredients for 12 pancakes:



● 2 cups gluten-free oatmeal (you can grind the oats yourself in a blender)


● 1/4 cup tapioca / cornflour flour


● 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


● 1 cup oat milk / any other vegetable milk


● 1/4 cup each ingredient: brown sugar (or coconut), oil, apple sauce


● 1 teaspoon each ingredient: vanilla extract, vinegar


● Toppings to choose from: fruit, nuts, sesame, maple, tahini and more



How to prepare:



● In a bowl: mix oatmeal, tapioca flour and baking powder


● Add all the other ingredients and mix well


● Heat a nonstick pan (must! Not stainless steel) over medium heat Oil-free


● Transfer a night ladle to the hot pan and wait for bubbles


● Invert when bubbles appear and then discard the first pancake (because it never works ...)


● Prepare a pile of pancakes and place on a serving plate


● Fully decorate delicious things and above all pour natural maple


● Serve hot

Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls - in a kosher edition for Passover



, delicious, snatched quickly and can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.



Ingredients for 20 balls:



● a cup and a half of coconut chips


● 20-25 soft jahul dates


● 2 tablespoons hazelnut spread (optional, but adds a lot)


● a tablespoon of cocoa or carob powder


● a tablespoon of sesame seeds


● a little vanilla extract



How to prepare:



● Mix all the ingredients together the ingredients until a uniform dough is formed.


● If the mixture is too crumbly then you can add another 2-3 dates.


● Form balls with slightly wet hands, and roll in whatever you like.


● Garnish with coconut chips.


● Sprinkle with a tablespoon of cocoa or carob powder.

Buckwheat bread



is not only delicious and suitable for Passover, but also healthy and recommended for diabetics or those suffering from high blood pressure.



Ingredients:



● 3 cups green buckwheat (not roasted)


● 1/2 1 cup mineral water


● 1/2 1 teaspoon Atlantic salt


● Olive oil to lubricate the pan


● 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sun-dried tomatoes and all What you like.



How to prepare:



● Soak the buckwheat in a bowl with water for at least five hours or overnight.


● After soaking, drain the water and rinse the buckwheat well.


Transfer the buckwheat to a blender and add the water.

Now grind until uniform and white overnight.


Transfer the batter to a bowl, add a teaspoon and a half of Atlantic salt and the nuts and seeds.

You can add a flat teaspoon of baking powder without aluminum and mix.


● Transfer the batter to an English cake pan greased with olive oil, garnish over broken nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, almonds and seeds or whatever you like.


● Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50-55 minutes.


● Remove from the oven, cut into slices and can also be frozen for later use.

Smoothie Ball



Pampering that both adults and babies especially love.

The smoothie ball is different from a smoothie in its texture - it is thicker because we put less liquid in it so that we can put some extra that we like on top.

In the case of the little ones - you can put ground coconut or chia and avoid seeds and nuts.



Ingredients for two servings:



● A cup of strawberries


● 1/2 cup of red raspberries


● 2 frozen bananas


● 2 stalks of celery


● 2 washed and tested Maghul dates


● a handful of spinach leaves / 4 lettuce leaves


● of your choice - vegetable milk



How to prepare:



● Put all The ingredients for the blender


● Fill with water / vegetable milk up to 3/4 of the height of the fruit


● Grind all the ingredients well in the blender


● Transfer to a bowl and decorate with toppings you like



* You can make the smoothie without greens, but it is important to know that they are the ones that cause the slow release of sugar and in addition contain essential nutrients, therefore and for the baby.
