Shlomo Gronich's storm continues even more, as the world of culture and entertainment is filled with angry and resentful reactions to his controversial statement.
But now, his ex-partner, Michal Adler, is shedding light on the circumstances and says the veteran musician is suffering from dementia.
"Shlomo is not the complement we all know," Adler tells Israel Today.
"He suffers from dementia and he is being treated. We have been a bit in denial, but unfortunately in the last three months there has been real aggravation. He is suffering from disconnections and confusion, and I attribute the statement yesterday to these disconnections. He did not remember what he said afterwards."

As you may recall, Gronich performed yesterday (Tuesday) at the Ein Gev Festival and said to the audience: "You are a great audience, everyone here is Ashkenazi who sings beautifully and there is not a single one."
Immediately after the remarks were made, the facilitator, Nesli Barda, drew his attention to his problematic and racist statement.
Gronich returned to the stage and apologized: "Sorry. I did not have to say that. I was blown away," but the network was already storming in response to things.
