(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 21 - The Chamber's Justice Commission has adopted the basic text of the law that proposes prosecuting the rented uterus as a universal crime.
This was announced by the speaker Carolina Varchi (Fdi).
In the commission there were two very similar bills, one by Giorgia Meloni and one first signed by Mara Carfagna.
The text of Meloni was adopted as the basic text.
The deadline for amendments will be set in the next few days.
