WhatsApp is apparently planning a paid model for business accounts: Users should have access to the same account from up to ten devices at the same time.
Munich – WhatsApp is probably working on a new subscription model that will make a number of new functions for business accounts available for a fee.
One of the planned functions has been specifically mentioned so far.
Business subscription: Access to one WhatsApp account for up to ten devices
WhatsApp is planning a subscription model for business accounts.
The subscription plan is reserved for WhatsApp business accounts and offers additional functions for companies, reports the online portal
wabetainfo.com
.
Initially (as of April 22), up to four devices could be connected to the multi-device function of a business account.
The new subscription should enable customers to have up to ten devices access the same account.
This is a great support for the business operations of many companies that use the messenger service.
Not available for standard accounts: WhatsApp also remains free of charge except for business subscriptions
Unfortunately, further details are not yet available: It is not known whether it is an annual or monthly subscription and how much it costs, but it is not available for standard accounts at all, reports
wabetainfo.com
.
The standard account with WhatsApp, including all associated functions, remains free of charge.
It could be a while before Apple releases new information or the WhatsApp Business Beta update for Android and iOS is available with the additional services.
Other important innovations in WhatsApp affect the regular accounts, such as a noteworthy innovation in the saves for photos from WhatsApp chats.
