Children's pasta, without anything, for NIS 53.

New record (Photo: Screenshot, Volt)

The fact that everything is expensive here, no longer re-nothing to anyone.

But at the same time there is a feeling that each time another imaginary red line is crossed.

We broke down when we paid 83 shekels for shawarma and a drink, we freaked out by the fact that a cup of coffee outside cost us 16 shekels, and still, we managed to understand some logic.

But this time there is a new record of exaggerations, such that even the industry's defense attorneys, those who usually manage to explain the prices that the customer seems exaggerated, did not find the words.

A screenshot from the Walt delivery app, which has been rolling out over the last few holidays on various social networks, shows a spaghetti-type "kids" pasta dish, "with nothing" (who among us parents does not know this gourmet dish?).

Simply put, this is a scaled-down pasta dish, as it is a children’s dish, with no sauce option.

So far legitimate, many of us have been in this situation - wanting to order food on delivery, and also looking for a dish for the picky kid.

The shock comes from the price the children's pasta received,

No less than NIS 53, for pasta with nothing.

The screenshot, went up in the Facebook group "What to eat now" and then also posted on Twitter and from there rolled across the net.

Reactions ranged as expected from astonishment, shock and laughter.

Because what is left for us besides laughing at the situation?

Another thing that excited us recently:

Why are we so embarrassed to give a credit card as a deposit for a place in a restaurant?

Not only in deliveries, but also in sitting in a restaurant (Photo: screenshot, Facebook of the restaurant)

Although the photo came up without the restaurant's name, a quick search in Walt revealed that the dish (and the exaggeration) was signed by a Karas restaurant from Bat Yam, a sushi restaurant, seafood and meat (according to the description in the app), since it also offers pastas.

But after two days, during which the screenshot was distributed, and the network stormed, the dish disappeared from the restaurant menu in the app.

But in the restaurant menu that appears on its Facebook, the dish still appears on the menu, under the same price, so this is not a special price for Walt (who charges a high commission from the restaurants, so some would argue that the price embodies the same commission), even a family sitting in a restaurant will have to part Shekels, for the same portion of pasta, with nothing.

Just for comparison, the place's kids menu also offers a mini burger on a bun, including fries on the side, or schnitzel for the same price of 53 shekels.

Which makes the donkey even more obscure.

So now the network is storming, and the dish has gone down from Walt (maybe it would have made more sense to just lower the price?).

"A sauce that only sages can see", "I wonder if we will ever be lazy enough parents to order such a thing" "We will call this chef's dish" pasta for nothing "or 'pasta a la nothing'" Ask how much it costs with sauce "were just some of the reactions, doubt stunned, doubt amused.

53 shekels.
