The 9-euro ticket should already be valid in June 2022.

Train passengers can then use public transport throughout Germany for only 9 euros.

And also regional trains.

Hamburg – The announcement by the traffic light government to offer a 9-euro ticket for three months of public transport was met with enthusiasm throughout Germany.

The 9-euro ticket is part of the 2022 relief package. It is intended to do exactly what the name says: relieve consumers in Germany.

Not only train drivers get their money's worth.

Motorists and Hartz IV recipients also benefit from various parts of the package.

Train passengers are particularly lucky: they can reach beautiful holiday destinations by train for little money.

When the 9-euro ticket will come and how it can be used

The 9-euro ticket should be available from June 2022 and relieve train drivers.

It is part of the federal government's 2022 relief package.

It is currently still controversial whether the ticket will actually be released in June.

Hamburg seems to be one of the few federal states preparing for the start.

Some countries are threatening to boycott the 9-euro ticket because the financing does not seem to have been finally clarified.

The question that many consumers in Germany ask themselves is which trains can be used with the 9-euro ticket.

For Hamburgers it is not the case that they are only allowed to drive within the HVV for 9 euros.

All of the approximately 60 transport associations in Germany may be used.

Important for many holidaymakers from June is that regional trains can also be used with the 9-euro ticket.
