Challenging but Possible: How do you collect the big one from kindergarten with a little newborn brother?
The task is not simple, but with resourcefulness (and sometimes a little help) it can be completed successfully.
So how do you do that?

If you'm a Newborn mom with a big brother at home you probably already know that picking up the big one from the frame in the afternoon can be especially challenging.
Unlike before he joined the family, the tiny, new baby has to accompany you for a pick-up, and is not always so concerned, or sometimes the whole construction is just complicated.
The difficulty is expressed, most often, in your dealing with the two children, who each have their own need and each of them needs you, mother, in his own way.
So how, physically, do you do it?
Here are some options:
Twin stroller
If your little ones are tight and you have a twin stroller - you are fine.
No one will feel deprived, everyone has their place, and while the little baby is lying in the stroller, his big brother can sit next to him, close together.
Baby carrier and stroller
The baby - in the carrier, the big one - in the stroller.
Seemingly a convenient option, but very much depends on the degree of consent of the older child to sit in the stroller.
There are children who will vehemently refuse to move around in a stroller and want to walk on their own (or worse - on your own hands), and for them this option will probably be less suitable.

Stroller or baby carrier for the little one - Bimba or scooter for growing up
Here you have more options to play with taking the baby for the big pick-up.
If he feels like being close to you - put him in a baby carrier, and if he even sleeps or lies down for his pleasure in a stroller - you can leave him there.
Your big kid who must be enjoying every moment of independence will be happy to go home (or anywhere else) on his favorite bimbo / scooter.
Help keep the baby at home
It is not a shame at all to enlist the help of a babysitter, grandmother, or anyone else.
If you feel that the task of collecting is too complicated with two children, you can arrange for someone you trust to take care of the little baby at home until you return with the big one.
Help with the big pick up from kindergarten
here too, you can enlist the help of a paid babysitter or grandmother to take the child from kindergarten, or even ask another parent to bounce your child home, of course if it is in his or her own way and convenient for him.
This way you will get a stress-free start in the afternoon with the two children.
Another option is that whoever picks up the child will not bring him home immediately but will take care of him having fun so you can earn more time with the little one.
It is important to remember that the little baby grows and his preferences can change, as can your preferences.
You can decide that you choose one option on some days, and other options on other days.
The first few times it can really feel awkward and stressful, but the more you "dive" into it, the smaller it will be on you.
