More suspicious cases

Earlier, a 27-year-old man arrived at the emergency medical center in Ichilov with a suspicion that he had contracted salmonella, after he said he had eaten chocolate products suspected of being infected with the bacterium.
The man, who has been suffering from fever, headaches, abdominal pain and vomiting for four days, received treatment at the hotline and was released to his home.
In the emergency department for children at Assuta Public Hospital in Ashdod, a 4-year-old boy was hospitalized on suspicion of contracting the bacterium as a result of eating one of Strauss' chocolate products that was removed from the shelves.
So far the Ministry of Health is aware of four cases suspected of being salmonella.
