As part of the study, the research team tested several scents on three different spider species found in Germany:
brown widow spider, giant fat spider and garden spider

While brown widow and garden spider were driven away by both
chestnut
oil and
mint oil
, the big fat spider was unimpressed by the scents.

Make a scent against spiders yourself - that's how it works
You don't have to spend huge sums of money on expensive remedies to get rid of spiders.
The homemade
anti-spider spray
is very easy to make:
