Roger Federer, who has not played in competition since Wimbledon 2021, "confirmed his participation" in the Basel tournament at the end of October: the organizers announced in a press release today.
"Roger Federer will be seeded" in the tournament organized in his hometown from 24 to 30 October, the note reads.
"After the Laver Cup in London (23-25 September), Federer added Basel to his schedule and confirmed his participation in the tournament."
