2022-04-27T09:35:12.524Z

In honor of the rise of the play "The Chief" at the Habima Theater, a fashion show was held that conveys a message that shows all women are equal wherever they are • The proceeds will be donated to an Israeli association that develops, researches and prevents eating disorders

Habima Theater has a fashion show inspired by the play "The Rais" that will be staged next week.

The play presents a world where the ideal of beauty is full women, and money plays a major role.

Rais, who lived in Tunisia in the early 20th century, faces the insecurity of his thin wife, and is a beautiful maid whose services he purchased for his wife, but she managed to capture his heart.

It is a comedic and musical drama written inspired by an ancient Tunisian legend that combines authentic traditions and melodies to be performed live.

The exhibition was held for the blessed purpose of promoting prevention and dealing with eating disorders, and some of the proceeds will be donated to the Israeli organization IAED, which is engaged in the development, research and prevention of eating disorders.

It was held in the stairwell area on the stage on the rounded patio in the shop window on the side facing the street as a showcase for passers-by.

Shai Zanko opened the show with a model of white oak, and Cindy Chadi closed with a model of Idan Cohen, with models marching alongside Julia Shachar, Ofir Corsia, Michelle Reaboy, Meirav Ashosh, Sofia Rotem, Nitzan Grib, Shelly Schwartz and more.

Among the designers who took part are Idan Cohen, Alon Livna, Riki Dalal, Asia and Lior Schwartzman.

Styling by Niti Daniel and produced by Tehila Shamir.

On the runway, a wide variety of plus-size models and average and small sizes walked equally in order to convey the message more clearly than ever.

"Israeli society still does not have the understanding of beauty, and women in a variety of sizes, and not just one size," said model Shai Zanko. "Everyone deserves to feel beautiful and whole with themselves, and the show really proves it.

What will bring about change in Israeli society is first and foremost education for the equality of all, and later on, each one will be able to enter the store and buy clothes. "

"I was first exposed to the fact that the figure of the full woman is actually the most coveted and revered," said model Cindy Tzadi.

"The very fact that there is an ideal of beauty is completely wrong because women will always want to look as the beauty ideal dictates to us, resulting in a lot of women suffering from eating disorders. There is no such thing as an ideal, tomorrow a beauty model is not a trend. The thinnest, the fattest, the tallest and the shortest. "
