(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 27 - "In this first year of activity, the Ministry of Tourism has disbursed 1.7 billion euros in support to the categories that were entitled to it, accepting 24 thousand requests made by operators".
Massimo Garavaglia says this, taking stock of this complicated first year at the helm of the Ministry of Tourism in a conference held in the office of the dicastery.
Among the supported sectors: travel agencies and tour operators (586 million), organizers of trade fairs and conferences (400 million), accommodation facilities (181 million), cableway systems (367 million).
Also for consumers: 1 million in the fund for the compensation of voucher holders.
