The former star presenter of 20 Hours has filed a complaint for slanderous denunciation against 16 of the women who accused him of sexual violence.

Justice has not finished with Patrick Poivre d'Arvor.

A little over a year after our revelations on the rape complaint filed by journalist Florence Porcel, the former star of 20 Hours counter-attack.

According to information from the magazine "Complément d'Enquête" of France 2, which we are able to confirm, the one nicknamed PPDA filed this Tuesday, April 26, with the court of Nanterre, a complaint for slanderous denunciation with constitution of civil party, against 16 of the 22 women who testified against him with the Brigade for the repression of delinquency against the person (BRDP), denouncing sexual harassment, sexual assault or rape.

A first complaint for slanderous denunciation had been filed by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor last February before being dismissed a few days later.

“For many months, many unfounded accusations have been brought against Patrick Poivre d'Arvor.

It is time for these charges to be tried.

We cannot accuse falsely and with impunity, ”his lawyer Philippe Naepels, who filed a 43-page complaint, told franceinfo.

Several of the 16 women targeted reacted immediately on social networks.

“I am one of the 16 women against whom PPDA dares to file a complaint for slanderous denunciation.

Good news !

We are going to have a trial, we who were deprived of it for prescription!

Eye to eye, Patrick,” wrote journalist Emmanuelle Dancourt on her Twitter account, who testified last November in “Liberation” to have been sexually assaulted by PPDA in her office in 2008.

I am one of 16 women.

The complaint was filed without further action.

He reiterates.

Pathetic diversion.

How to make the victims the culprits again and again?

I'm waiting for the gag process to turn into a trial and we can all take the stand.

I learn that I will be one of these 16 women.

It's one more procedure to silence us.

I believe the time for silence is over.

I believe in justice.

I look forward to speaking with the other 15 women in court https://t.co/GUcXqPgy7y
