When the police wanted to stop them, the two men locked the doors of their car. They denied the officials the powers – the reinforcements forcibly got the two out of the car.

According to the police, two alleged “Reich citizens” locked themselves in their car during a traffic check in Schramberg in Baden-Württemberg, triggering a major operation on Tuesday evening.

The 23 and 25-year-old men locked the doors of the car so as not to be checked, the police said.

They called for backup over the phone.

Friends and supporters of the men were kept at a distance with dismissals and "force".

During the check, it apparently quickly became clear that the men might belong to the "Reichsbürger" scene.

According to the police, the Italian citizens questioned the powers of the police, questioned the existence of the Federal Republic of Germany and refused any cooperation.

Doors forced open

The police at the scene called reinforcements.

The public prosecutor ordered a search of the car by telephone.

The doors of the car were then violently opened.

The police took the men who apparently resisted into custody.

A drug test on the 25-year-old driver was positive.

He was also driving without a valid driver's license.

His driver's license had been revoked months ago for driving under the influence of drugs.

It is said that some friends and supporters of the two men are now being investigated for insulting police officers.
