Change of residence with a click
: from today, for the first time, it is possible to request
online
the change of residence from one municipality to another throughout Italy, directly from the portal of the national registry of the resident population (Anpr).
After an initial application phase that began in February in about thirty administrations, the
service is now extended to all municipalities
.
The Registry portal - in the area reserved for services to citizens - can be accessed, as specified by the Department for Digital Transformation, the Ministry of the Interior and Sogei, with one's own digital identity (Electronic Identity Card, SPID, or CNS) .
The new service, which is added to the possibility of
downloading the registry certificates
, allows adult
citizens
registered in the national registry to make online registry requests for the change of residence for the transfer from any municipality to another on the national territory, or repatriation from abroad for Italian citizens registered with the
AIRE
, and change of residence in the same municipality, on the national territory.
You will be able to access the registry portal - in the area reserved for citizen services - with your digital identity (Electronic Identity Card, SPID, or CNS), fill in the personal data request online for yourself and for the members of your family and send it automatically to the competent municipality, following the instructions published in the service area.
It is possible to send a request for a new residence, which concerns the transfer to a new home, even where there are already people with whom there are no family or emotional ties, and for residence in an existing family, in a home where there are people with which there are family or emotional ties, indicating one of the members of the family in which one joins.

"From today all over Italy you can request with a click the change of residence from one municipality to another or repatriation from abroad. This is another important result obtained by the ministers Colao and Lamorgese with the Anpr project, Registry of the resident population, which since last November allows users to download 14 personal certificates online.
