Lake Tahoe (USA) - A family from California has been harboring uninvited guests in the basement of their house for months without realizing it.
You keep hearing strange noises that sound like snoring, but pay no further attention to them.
Until recently, they are startled by a loud rumble in the basement and suspect it might be a bear.

The family then immediately notified the Bear League, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting bears in the region.
The group's helpers immediately drive to the family and make an amazing discovery: a mother bear and her four cubs have apparently used the crawl space under the house as a place to hibernate.
In a Facebook post, the organization writes: "The bear family woke up and prepared to leave the house and the people in the house could no longer deny that there is probably a bear under the house." Baby bear sitting on the side of the road crying because he lost his mother in a car accident.

Bear family hibernates in the basement - family ignores snoring noises
However, the family certainly did not think that it was a whole family of bears.
Bear League executive director Ann Bryant told CNN that the bears have likely been wintering under the house since early December.
The noises that residents heard and long ignored were likely from the five black bears snoring, feeding or rolling around, Bryant said.
"Bears don't hibernate deeply, they fall into a lighter state of torpor," she added.
Another bear finds a GoPro camera in the woods and then uses it to make a funny video.

When Bear League staff arrive, the mother bear is already on her way out.
But then she suddenly stops and sits down on the other side of the garden, as if waiting for something.
"All of a sudden, a hatchling, two hatchlings, three hatchlings, four hatchlings came out," reports Bryant.
"It was an impressive spectacle," the organization said in its Facebook post.
The Bear League helpers ensure that the bear family is safely escorted into the forest.
And as luckily it turns out, the bears didn't cause any major damage to the house either.
