The Quebec singer is forced to postpone her European tour to 2023, already canceled several times, because of the spasms

“Here we are again, I am so sorry, saddened to have to postpone the shows once again”.

It is with a certain emotion in her voice that Celine Dion announced the sad news to her European fans.

While she was supposed to go to Europe for an event tour, the world famous Quebec singer is forced to postpone, once again, her visit to the continent.

She had indeed already had to postpone her tour because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rescheduled in 2022, the shows will therefore finally take place next year, in 2023.

In a video posted on YouTube this Friday, Celine Dion explains that it is her health that "forces her to postpone the shows of the European tour and unfortunately to cancel some others".

"My doctors follow me and I receive treatments, but I still have muscle spasms," she explains to the camera.

Recovery takes a lot longer than I thought and I have to be in good shape, in good health, so that I can give 100% of myself on the stage, because that's what you deserve .

I wanted to tell you how I feel, to tell you that I am so sorry for this news.

New dates in September 2023

Initially scheduled for the summer of 2020, then March 2021 and September 2022, the singer will finally go to La Défense Arena for six dates next September.

To make her fans wait, Celine Dion continues: “You have been waiting for my concerts for a long time, and I appreciate your loyalty.

And now I tell myself that you must be so disappointed, discouraged to wait… I'm doing the best I can to get back in shape as soon as possible”.

In mid-January, she had already announced the cancellation of the last part of her North American tour, which was to start on March 9 in Denver and end on April 22 in Washington.

The bad news is all the more worrying since the 53-year-old Canadian artist had already given up her new residency show in Las Vegas in mid-October, which she intended to present in November, then in January and February.

She does not fail to share a little word for Ukraine, saying "pray" for the country and for "that this war ends as soon as possible".

“I hope to see you very soon.

I'm bored, I never stopped loving you.

It's hard to say goodbye to you but I end this message by saying, see you soon, thank you.
