Covid: 58,161 new positives, 133 victims

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 29 - There are 58,861 new infections from Covid registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.

Yesterday there were 69,204.

On the other hand, the victims are 133, a slight increase compared to the 131 recorded yesterday.

    Molecular and antigenic swabs for coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours fell to 381,239, compared to 441,526 the previous day.

The positivity rate is 15.4%, a slight decline from yesterday's 15.7%.

371 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 11 fewer than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits.

Daily admissions amount to 38.

The hospitalized in the ordinary wards still return below 10 thousand: they are 9,942, or 134 less than yesterday.

    Also according to the ministry's data, there are 1,247,117 people currently positive at Covid, 1,689 fewer in the last 24 hours.
