were unveiled during CinemaCon, Thursday April 28.

Maverick, one of the United States Navy's top fighter pilots, played by Tom Cruise, is back and continues to push his limits.
He is now responsible for training young graduates of the Top Gun school as part of a special mission.
Faithful to the original film, the action scenes filmed aboard real US Navy fighter planes follow one another, in addition to a large number of references to the work of Tony Scott.

Top flight cast
Alongside the
Mission Impossible
star and Val Kilmer, returning to play Lt. Tom Kazansky aka “Iceman,” young actors enter the
Top Gun
universe .
Miles Teller (
Whiplash
) stars as Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, the son of Maverick's late friend Nick "Goose" Bradshaw, and Monica Barbaro (
Unreal
), a new recruit.
Alongside them, Jennifer Connelly (
Requiem for a Dream
), Jon Hamm (
Baby Driver
), Glen Powell (
Les Figures de l'ombre
) and Ed Harris (
The Lost Daughter
) will be part of the cast.
The feature film will be released in theaters on May 25 and will be screened out of competition for the first time at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
