Scene of general panic on Wednesday April 28, at Ben-Gurion airport in Tel-Aviv (Israel).
For long minutes, hundreds of passengers ready to board in the departures area, started running in all directions, panicked, after a bomb threat.
On videos posted on social networks, we see panicked travelers getting down, hiding behind counters, in total confusion.
Just before the incident, an American family presented themselves in front of the control areas, with a funny memory of their stay in Israel.
It was an unexploded shell, carefully wrapped in a plastic bag, which these tourists had picked up while hiking in the Golan Heights.
The airport security service immediately asked those present in the area to move aside while waiting for the demining team.
But the announcement immediately sows a wave of panic among the other passengers.
The Israel Airports Authority even reported that a panicked man, who tried to flee the area near the baggage carousels, injured himself and had to be taken to hospital.
Once the alert was lifted, calm returned to the airport.
The American family was finally able to take their flight as planned… but without their vacation “souvenir”.
