He shares the amazing footage on his TikTok account "brandonj612", causing wonder and excitement for millions of viewers.

The star of the short clip, red and white cat Cheeto, seems to be having a blast not running up the stairs like everyone else.

Because the cat claws at the stairs from below and effortlessly climbs them upside down with the optimal use of claws - until it finally reaches the ceiling and can't go any further.

Hunter-Frederick told pet portal allpetvoices.com that cats have an "instinctive urge to climb," which they inherited from their ancestors.

"In the wild, cats can use this to chase their prey up a tree or use a tree as a hiding place when hunting."

Also, cats would prefer to survey their surroundings from a high vantage point.

"There's also a certain prestige to occupying the highest seat in the house," says Hunter-Frederick.

In a multi-cat household, the more dominant animals will claim the top spots.

Cat Cheeto has also garnered some prestige with his insane clip — and that's on social media.

Within a very short time, over 26 million people viewed the funny video and gave it almost 3 million likes.
