Exciting news for fans of the iconic film from the 1980s "Corrupt Dance" - Baby is back.
Last week the successful Lions Productions film studio that took part in the Cinemcon Festival announced a sequel to the box office hit from 1987 starring the late Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray.
"Jennifer Gray returns to Kellerman," the voice announced in a video shown to the audience on the return of the film star who played the character of Francis Hausman, who is a baby, who fell into Johnny's sturdy arms played by Swayze in one of the hottest love stories seen on screen (and included of course The unforgettable hoisting scene in a passionate dance between the two).

The success of the film has led to a number of attempts to recreate the magic in the past, but unfortunately for the fans they have been a pretty diligent failure.
In 2004, the film "Corrupt Dance 2: Nights of Owen" was released, which except for a title similar to the film and a guest appearance by Swayze, any connection between him and the revered source was almost accidental.
In 2017, the ABC network made another attempt to revive the wonder with a TV movie, but despite a cast that included glittering names such as Abigail Breslin, Debra Messing, Nicole Scherzinger and Sarah Highland, it was not very successful.
Rumors of Grey's involvement in the sequel began to surface as early as 2020 when the studio's CEO admitted in an interview with Deadline that it was one of the most unscrupulous secrets in Hollywood history. Of the studios, ”he promised but did not elaborate on the plot of the film or an estimated release date.
Swayze sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of 57 after a battle with cancer.
Gray, 62, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the film, is currently promoting a revealing biography book about her life, so the timing of the announcement fits in well with her intense PR campaign.
