Threats and words of racist hatred on the way to school: it is the nightmare that lasted months for a 14-year-old Roman, victim of bullying by four peers.
The girls were denounced in recent days by the police of Passo Corese, in the province of Rieti, for persecutory and defamatory acts, aggravated by the purposes of discrimination and racial hatred.
The young victim was targeted by racist epithets, due to her dark complexion, inherited from her mother of African origin.
The bullying episodes went on for weeks, at the bus stop that took her to the Roman institute she attended and where she repeatedly found a gang of six girls waiting for her.
Four of them, residing like the victim in the province of Rome, were identified thanks to witnesses.
The police reported them in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court in Rome.
The young women reported are challenged with racist insults and sexual provocations, but also threats such as to have pushed their victim, out of fear, to change habits and daily journeys.
All in an attempt to avoid the peers who had decided to target her.
It was not enough, however: the insults followed the 14-year-old home, because bullying and racial hatred against her were also overflowing on social networks.
To put an end to the weeks of fear was the choice of the young victim to contact the police of Passo Corese, accompanied by a parent.
An episode that is added to many other cases of racist or discriminatory bullying in recent months.
